# Finding IDs

> Where to find the organization, agent, phone number, call and outbound call IDs the API needs.

The API identifies clinics, agents, phone numbers and calls by ID. These IDs are UUIDs, such as `3f6c1d2e-8a4b-4f7e-9c21-5b0d7e4a9f13`. This page shows where each one appears in the AlloMia dashboard and in API responses.

| ID | Used as | In the dashboard | In API responses |
| - | - | - | - |
| Organization ID | `{id}` in organization paths, `organizationId` in List calls | **Organizations** (partner account) or **Organization Settings** (clinic) | `id` from List and Create organization; `organizationId` in calls |
| Agent ID | `assistantId` in Create outbound call | **Voice Agents** | `agentId` in calls |
| Phone number ID | `phoneNumberId` in Create outbound call | **Phone Numbers** | Not returned |
| Call ID | `{id}` in Get call | **Call Logs & Analytics** | `id` in List calls |
| Outbound call ID | `{id}` in Get outbound call status | **Tools & Actions** → **Outbound** | `outboundCallId` from Create outbound call, the status endpoint and the callback |

The agent, phone number, call and outbound call IDs belong to one clinic. In the dashboard, select that clinic first, in the selector at the top of the left menu.

## Organization ID

The clinic's ID. You need it for every organization endpoint and for [List calls](/api-reference/endpoint/list-calls).

**As a partner:** select your partner account under **Tenants** in the selector at the top of the left menu. Under **Platform**, click **Organizations**. On the clinic's row, open the actions menu (⋮) and click **Copy ID**. The dashboard confirms with "Organization ID copied to clipboard".

**As a clinic:** in the left menu, under **Organization**, click **Organization Settings**. On the **Organization Information** tab, the **Organization Profile** card shows the **Organization ID** with a copy button.

**From the API:** [Create organization](/api-reference/endpoint/create-organization) returns it as `id`. Store it with your own record of the clinic. [List organizations](/api-reference/endpoint/list-organizations) returns `id` for each clinic, and call responses carry it as `organizationId`.

## Agent ID

The ID of a clinic's AI agent. You need it as `assistantId` in [Create outbound call](/api-reference/endpoint/create-outbound-call). The agent must belong to the same clinic as the phone number you call from.

**In the dashboard:** in the left menu, under **Agent**, click **Voice Agents**. Hover over the agent's card, open its menu (⋮) and click **Copy ID**. The dashboard confirms with "Agent ID copied."

**From the API:** [List calls](/api-reference/endpoint/list-calls) and [Get call](/api-reference/endpoint/get-call) return `agentId` and `agentName` for each call, so you can also read it from a call the agent has handled.

## Phone number ID

The ID of the clinic's phone number that the outbound call comes from. You need it as `phoneNumberId` in [Create outbound call](/api-reference/endpoint/create-outbound-call). It is not the phone number itself.

**In the dashboard:** in the left menu, under **Agent**, click **Phone Numbers**. On the number's row, open the actions menu (⋮) and click **Copy ID**. The dashboard confirms with "Phone number ID copied."

Pick a regular phone number, not a SIP line: a SIP line can't place outbound calls through the API.

**From the API:** no endpoint returns phone number IDs. The `phoneNumber` field in call responses is the number in E.164 format, such as `+15145550100`, not its ID.

## Call ID

The ID of one call record. You need it for [Get call](/api-reference/endpoint/get-call).

**In the dashboard:** in the left menu, under **Agent**, click **Call Logs & Analytics**, then the **Call Logs** tab. Click a call to open **Call Details**. Under **Call Information**, **Call ID** shows the first 12 characters and a copy button that copies the full ID.

**From the API:** [List calls](/api-reference/endpoint/list-calls) returns `id` for each call. Its `search` parameter also matches part of a call ID.

## Outbound call ID

The ID of a call you asked AlloMia to place. You need it for [Get outbound call status](/api-reference/endpoint/get-outbound-call-status).

**From the API:** [Create outbound call](/api-reference/endpoint/create-outbound-call) returns it as `outboundCallId`, together with a `contactId`. Store both. The status response and the [call-completed callback](/api-reference/webhooks) carry the same `outboundCallId`.

**In the dashboard:** in the left menu, under **Agent**, open **Tools & Actions** and click **Outbound**. Calls placed through the API are listed there, named `API Call - ` followed by the number called. Open the call's actions menu (⋮) and click **Copy ID**. The dashboard confirms with "Call ID copied to clipboard", but the value is the outbound call ID, not the call ID from **Call Logs & Analytics**.

<Note>
  The outbound call ID and the call ID are different. The outbound endpoints and the callback don't return a call ID. To find the call record for an outbound call, use [List calls](/api-reference/endpoint/list-calls) with `callType=Outbound` and a `from` and `to` range around the `startedAt` and `endedAt` times from the status or callback.
</Note>

## Other IDs you may see

* `tenantId`: your partner account's ID, a short text such as `northwind-health`, not a UUID. It appears in organization responses. No endpoint takes it as input.
* `teamId`: appears in call responses when a team of agents handled the call. The **Teams** page has a **Copy ID** action too. No endpoint takes it as input.
* `contactId`: returned with each outbound call. No endpoint takes it as input.
