Overview

If you already own a phone number through Twilio, you can import it into AlloMia to manage it with your voice agents. This process links AlloMia to your Twilio account, allowing it to handle calls for that number.
Note: This feature currently only supports importing numbers from Twilio. It requires either an active AlloMia subscription or specific permissions enabled by your tenant administrator. This process does not port the number away from Twilio.

Accessing Import Options

  1. Navigate to the Phone Numbers section from the main application sidebar.
  2. Select the Import Number tab located at the top of the page.

Finding Your Twilio Credentials

You will need your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token:
  1. Log in to your Twilio Console.
  2. Your Account SID and Auth Token are typically visible on your main account dashboard.
  3. Verify the exact phone number you wish to import (e.g., +12345678901). You can usually find this in the Active Numbers section of your Twilio account.

Entering Details in AlloMia

In the AlloMia Import Number tab, fill in the following fields:
  • Phone Number: Enter the full Twilio phone number you want to import (e.g., +12345678901).
  • Account SID: Paste your Twilio Account SID.
  • Auth Token: Paste your Twilio Auth Token.

Completing the Import

  1. Double-check all entered information for accuracy.
  2. Click the Import Number button.
AlloMia will attempt to validate the credentials with Twilio. If successful, the phone number will be added to your inventory in the main Phone Numbers tab and marked as imported. You can then assign it to a voice agent. If you encounter errors, please verify your Twilio credentials and the phone number format.

Conclusion

Your Twilio number is now linked to AlloMia. Remember that billing for this number continues through Twilio. You can now proceed to assign this number to an agent.
