Introduction to Managing Voice Agents
Managing your voice agents effectively is key to maintaining an organized and efficient workflow. AlloMia provides simple tools to duplicate existing agents, allowing you to quickly create variations or backups, and to delete agents that are no longer needed. This guide will walk you through the steps for duplicating and deleting voice agents. How to Duplicate a Voice Agent
Duplicating an agent creates an exact copy, including its configuration, personality, and context. This is useful for testing changes without affecting the original agent or for creating slightly different versions for various purposes.- Navigate to the Voice Agents section in your AlloMia dashboard.
- Find the agent you wish to duplicate in the list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the agent’s card.
- Select Duplicate from the dropdown menu.
- A new agent, typically named ‘[Original Agent Name] Copy’, will appear in your list. You can rename it as needed.
How to Delete a Voice Agent
Deleting a voice agent is permanent and cannot be undone. Ensure you want to remove the agent before proceeding.- Go to the Voice Agents section.
- Locate the agent you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the agent’s card.
- Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm that you want to delete the agent.
Tips for Organizing Your Agents
As your list of agents grows, consider these tips for organization:- Use clear and descriptive names for your agents.
- Regularly review and delete unused or outdated agents.
- If you have many similar agents, consider using template features if available, or document the base configuration you duplicated from.
